I am a mother of three beautiful kids. All three of my children were delivered with the help of labor induction and all three of my children had infantile eczema and itching skin. However, no member of my family or their father’s family has eczema or any skin issues. I became puzzled. It was discomforting to see them scratching their skin especially at night. I took them to pediatricians that would recommend topical steroids and greasy emollient and advised not to bath them daily. Rationale being not to dry their skins with daily bathing. Hygienically i did not like that idea either or using steroids on my kids at infancy. I became curious and started thinking how i could help relieve my children dry skin and itching naturally with what i had at home. I started researching into the herbs and spices i had at home and medicinal properties they have. Several months along the line, the idea of Glow-rious was born. I selected few commonly used household spices considering their powerful anti-inflammatory, soothing and skin rejuvenation properties to start the journey of Glow-rious with. I contacted several skin care labs, discussed what i wanted to do and produced just a few. I started using Glow-rious skincare first products, shower gel, whole body lotion and scrub within my family. This worked for my children. Itching was relieved, their skin tone became even, dull skin gone. I therefore decided to expand production of Glow-rious products to the general public in hopes of helping individuals that struggle with same dry and itching skin as my children did.
